Who we are
Flattie is operated by Flattie Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). We provide a mobile application and website (flattie.in) that connects people looking for flats and flatmates.
What we collect
We collect: (a) Account data — name, email address, phone number, profile photo; (b) Listing data — flat photos, videos, addresses, rent details, house rules; (c) Usage data — device type, IP address, app interactions, crash reports; (d) Communication data — in-app messages between matched users.
How we use your data
To operate the flatmate-matching service, verify your identity via OTP, deliver push notifications about matches and messages, prevent fraud and fake accounts, improve the app, and respond to support requests.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not share your phone number with other users without your consent. We do not profile you.
Third parties & storage
We use Cloudflare (CDN, photo/video storage), Firebase (authentication, push notifications, crash reports), and Apple & Google (app distribution). Your data is stored on secured servers with encryption at rest and in transit.
Data retention
Your data exists as long as your account does. Delete your account and all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Chat messages are deleted when either party deletes their account.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Delete your account from app settings or email us. Data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Children
Flattie is available to users of all ages. Under 18? Please get parental or guardian consent before creating an account.
